FAQs

Most scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit; thus, students distinguished by academic excellence, participation in extracurricular activities and involvement in community service have the best chance at receiving one of our firm’s awards.

Start by asking a teacher, employer or mentor. Do not ask a friend or family member. A letter of recommendation is similar to a professional reference; choose someone who can articulate your strengths and praise your accomplishments.

A winner must meet all of the standard criteria required for this scholarship but also distinguish herself from the rest of the applicants. It is suggested for you to review our website, all of the scholarship criteria, and write a thoughtful, informative essay.

The winner will be announced on January 31 of the following year for which the scholarship was applied for. All communications will occur via email. Please do not call our office.

Typically. If you are awarded this scholarship, our firm will give the award directly to the school you are attending as credit towards your tuition and other eligible expenses. Your school may adjust your unmet financial need accordingly.
